"It was nice to be able to honor some special seniors today that have done a lot here at Corban," said head coach Aaron Lewis. "They mean a great deal to a lot of people, and I'll savor the opportunity to lead them for the remaining time we have together."

Seniors Mitch Graham (Roseburg, Ore.), Kellen Luey (Beaverton, Ore.), Tim Kagey (West Linn, Ore.), and James Williamson (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) were honored prior to the match in a pregame ceremony, thanking each of them for their contributions to the Warriors over the years.

Williamson scored in the ninth minute to put Corban in front, heading a ball past the goalkeeper for his second-straight game-winning goal. For Williamson, it was almost a carbon copy of Friday's game-winner as he finished at the back post. Assists on the play were credited to junior forward Quamie Dinnall (May Pen, Jamaica) and junior midfielder Jacob Young (Gresham, Ore.) off the corner kick and initial header.

Luey used a nifty piece of skill, turned the corner and got in behind the Lions' defense in the 22nd minute, whipping in a beautiful cross to Dinnall who laid the ball off perfectly with a one-time pass to junior forward Nathaniel Cheney (Clarkston, Wash.) who blasted a right-footed rocket into the goal, doubling Corban's lead. For Cheney, it was his team-leading eighth goal of the year.

Five minutes later, Dinnall ripped a shot on frame, but Multnomah goalkeeper Manny Guillermo made a quality save. The ball fell right into the path of Warrior junior forward Bobby Hutchin (Vancouver, Wash.), however, and Hutchin finished with ease, putting Corban up 3-0. Dinnall was once again credited with an assist after it was his shot that was initially saved.

On the day, Dinnall finished with three more assists, adding to his team-leading total and bringing him to 16 total assists on the year. For Corban, that is a new school record for assists in a single season.

From that point on, the Warriors continued to pound the goal, looking to get all of the seniors on the scoresheet, but it was not to be, as Guillermo made some incredible saves, racking up 15 in all en route to a 3-0 final score.

Corban did outshoot Multnomah on the day, 36-0, not allowing a single shot for the Lions. Kagey led the way for Corban with 10 shots. The Warriors also held the corner-kick advantage, 12-0.

Following the match, the four Warrior seniors talked about the win in a post-game interview:

"I am excited to get back to work on Monday," said Lewis. "I believe this week we exposed some areas we need to improve on, and everyone here remains hungry to prepare themselves for the big matches on the horizon."

Corban (13-1, 8-1 CCC) returns to the pitch next week for a pair of big matches on the road. First match is set for Friday in La Grande, Ore., against Eastern Oregon University at 3 p.m. For a full look at the remaining Warrior regular-season schedule, click here.
