Corban has only ever had one NAIA Track & Field All-American, and that was Jacob Bowdoin in 2013 in the 800 Meters. If any of Corban's three competitors place in the top-eight this week, they will garner All-American plaudits.
All three Warriors will look to kick off nationals with a bang on Thursday, as Cruise will compete first in the Javelin at 3 p.m. EST, while Russell and Bohuslavizki will follow at 4 p.m. EST and 4:25 p.m. EST in the 400m Hurdles.
Cruise enters the Javelin ranked No. 6 overall in the NAIA with her school-record toss of 143' 1". She will be looking to make a big splash in the event at the NAIA Championships and better her school-record mark while climbing the leaderboard. For Cruise, this appearance at the NAIA National Championships marks the first time she has ever competed at Nationals.
Following Cruise's competition in the Javelin, Russell takes to the track for the fourth-straight year at the NAIA Championships. One of the most decorated athletes to ever don the Navy and Gold for Corban Track & Field, Russell's school-record time of 1:02.84 in the 400m Hurdles ranks No. 14 overall this year in the NAIA, and she'll be looking to improve upon that mark and close out her Warrior career in style. If she advances out of the prelims with a fast enough time, she will then compete in the event finals on Saturday at 4:10 p.m. EST.
Bohuslavizki makes his inaugural debut at nationals for the Warriors in 2016. While experiencing a breakout sophomore season with Corban, Bohuslavizki uncorked a career-best time in the 400m Hurdles at the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Championships, crossing the finish line in a second-place time of 54.37 seconds, the second-fastest mark in program history. Heading into this week's national meet, he ranks No. 16 and will look to jump a few competitors to make a push to qualify for the Event Finals, set for Saturday at 4:20 p.m. EST.
