"The men's team ran a solid race with a great individual performance by Robert Swoboda," said Corban head coach Norm Berney. "He finished as the top freshman in the conference and is the first person in the top-10 individually since we started the program 15 years ago. The future looks bright with seven of our runners returning next year."
Swoboda not only became Corban's first-ever All-CCC honoree (top-12 finishers in conference), but he also placed in the top 10 and was the fastest freshman on the men's side at the race out of all competing CCC teams. He crossed the finish line in a time of 25:54.40, only 30 seconds behind the winner of the race.
Ruben Salvador-Benavides was Corban's next fastest runner in a time of 26:48.70, taking 32nd overall. Zane West came in at 40th overall with a mark of 27:41.10 for the Warriors.

The Warriors will now wait to hear when the NAIA makes the announcement on all of the qualifiers for the NAIA National Championships. As a top-15 finisher, Swoboda is eligible to qualify for the NAIA National Championships in Vancouver, Wash., as an individual. The announcement will be made on Monday, November 6.
