2017: Junior runner for the Warrior women’s track and field team that placed sixth in the CCC Championships… Registered a career-best time of 1:04.96 in the 400m at the 2017 Willamette/Corban Duel, finishing fourth overall… Notched a time of 2:21.59 in the 800m at the CCC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, good for a personal record and a ninth-place finish… Finished with a career-best mark of 5:06.20 in the 1500m at the GFU Rich Allen Classic, taking third place overall… Named an NAIA Scholar Athlete… Earned Academic All-Conference honors…
2016: Second-year runner for the Warrior women’s track & field squad that placed third overall at the 2016 CCC Championships… Clocked a career-best time in the 5000m at the Linfield Ice Breaker, finishing in a time of 20:28.50… Registered a season-best time in the 800m at the Jenn Boyman Invite, finishing in a mark of 2:25.45… Collected CCC All-Academic Team plaudits…
2015: First-year distance runner for the warriors… Placed 11th with a career-best at the Lewis and Clark Invite with an 800 Meters time of 2:24.13… Also registered a career-best in the 1500 Meters finishing at 5:07.44 at the Linfield Jenn Boyman Invitational…Placed 14th in the 1500M at the CCC Championships…
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Mount Vernon Christian High School in 2014… Competed as a state contender for four years on varsity… Placed eighth overall at state in 2012 and 10th in 2014… Set school records for her running times from 2010-2014… Notched school records in the 1600 Meters … Finished first in state for the 4x400-meter relay in both her junior and senior seasons…
PERSONAL: Born in Everett, Wash. to Abel and Janet Yzaguire… Has three brothers (Tim, Steve, Michael)… Hobbies include running, working out, various outdoor activities, and playing piano… Plans to major in Elementary Education…
