This Warrior team became the first and only national championship volleyball team after winning the 1997 National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) crown with a four-set victory (16-14, 11-15, 15-10, 15-11) over Christian Heritage College. Under the direction of head coach Tracy Smith, the Warriors amassed a school-record 31 wins that year en route to also capturing the program's only Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament title and advancing to the first-ever NAIA Region I tournament.
