SALEM, Ore. – The Corban University Athletic Department has announced the date for the 2025 Golden Warrior Awards, which is scheduled to take place on campus at the Psalm Center for the second-consecutive season after Warrior Nation packed the event center in spring of 2024 for the first time in award show history. The annual award show, which honors the student-athletes, teams, coaches, and community members for their accomplishments during the 2024-25 school year and include the accomplishments from spring of 2024 that occurred after the 2024 spring show. This year's event will take place on Monday, April 14th, at 7:30pm with doors opening no later than 7pm.
"After an extremely successful award show last year taking place on our own campus, we're excited to bring our student-athletes' favorite event of the year back at the Psalm Center where we can celebrate Warrior Nation members for their accomplishments over the past year," Corban assistant athletic director and director of athletic communications Clayton Messerle shared. "It's always a treat to see our staff, faculty, students, and our community coming together to enjoy a fun night of comradery and celebrate His glory that's been bestowed upon our City on a Hill."
The formal event, where members of Warrior Nation will be encouraged to bust out their best suit and tie combo, dresses, and any other formal attire for the special occasion, will feature after-dinner desserts and refreshments on a first come, first served basis, all while recognizing the various winners of the 16-award show presentation over the course of Monday evening.
General public tickets are available on the Corban Athletics Box Office, which can be accessed by clicking HERE for $15 apiece. Tickets available to the general public are limited due to student-athlete and administration/presenters that are already accounted for in the seating chart availability, meaning it's recommended to purchase tickets sooner rather than later if wanting to lock down seating for the event. Due to seating constraints, no additional tickets will be sold once the current allotment sells out.
Student-athletes will receive their allotted tickets directly from their respective head coaches, while Corban students, staff, and faculty not affiliated with a varsity sport are encouraged to reach out directly to the Corban Athletic office for ticket availability/pricing.
The popular voting period for all awards will open within the coming weeks and will be released to the public once available.
