WESTERN OREGON (Freshman & Sophomore): Competed for two seasons at nearby Western Oregon University … Was a member of the two-time Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) outdoor track & field champions … Named 2nd team All-GNAC in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated with honors from nearby Cascade High School in 2006 … Competed in cross country (4 years), basketball (2 years), and track & field (4 years) … Member of 7th and 14th place teams in cross country at the 2A & 3A level … Two-time member of state championship 4x400 meter relay team in 2003 & 2004 … 10-time all-league and 6-time all-state honoree.

PERSONAL: Born in Salem, Ore. to Jeff and Elizabeth Hunt … Is 1 of 6 children … Has 3 brothers (Jordan, Satchel, & Healey) and 2 sisters (Miki & Logan) … Enjoys reading, running, and friends … Major: Elementary Education … Would like to become a college coach and special education teacher following graduation.
