LA GRANDE, Ore. – A pair of goals off the foot of Timur Zhividze was all Jordan Farr and the Warrior defense needed to top Eastern Oregon University on Saturday afternoon in the final Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) regular-season match of the year. With the win, the Warriors will head into the CCC tournament as the No. 3 seed.
"It was a great performance and response from our guys in an important game," said head coach Aaron Lewis.

Corban jumped ahead right away in the first half on a Timur Zhividze goal in the 7th minute, assisted by Igor Hubenya. Zhividze then added some insurance late in the second half with another beautiful finish just before the end of regulation. The two goals bring Zhividze's regular-season total to 15 on the year, which leads the CCC.
Defensively, Jordan Farr was excellent between the pipes for the Warriors, notching a pair of saves and keeping the Mountaineers scoreless throughout the match. The 2-0 win marked the 42nd career shutout for the NAIA active shutout leader, and the seventh of the year for the Corban goalkeeper.
Corban (14-1-3, 10-1-2 CCC) will now look ahead to the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) tournament, which will take place next weekend in Springfield, Ore. Stay tuned to CorbanWarriors.com for full details on the tournament as they become available.
