Student-athletes who are fortunate enough to be a Warrior are provided and challenged with enriched, quality, and competitive intercollegiate athletic opportunities at a national level.
Personal growth is highly emphasized and enhanced by combining spiritual truth into athletic and academic achievement. Coaches actively recruit student-athletes who are committed to developing Christlike character through discipline, teamwork, competition, and ministry. It is a primary goal that all our young men and women display that character and attitude toward opponents, spectators, officials and the community. Student-athletes at Corban can expect to be challenged, instructed, encouraged and mentored in the process of growing and living life in the image of Jesus Christ.
As a member of the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC), Corban is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Warrior teams compete in women's basketball, cross country, track & field, golf, soccer, softball, lacrosse, volleyball and beach volleyball along with the men's sports of basketball, baseball, cross country, track & field, golf, wrestling and soccer.
Corban has claimed 76 CCC Championships (26 regular-season championships; 50 tournament/meet championships) since the Warriors joined the CCC in 1994 and now compete in for 15 of the 18 varsity sports offered. Since joining the NAIA prior to the 1970-71 year, Corban University has competed in 44 regional tournament and 98 national tournaments. In the spring of 2022, the Corban beach volleyball team claimed the inaugural NAIA Beach Volleyball National Invitational, Robert Swoboda won the individual national title in the NAIA Track & Field 10,000-meter race, and Valerie Schmidt was crowned the NAIA National Champion in the heptathlon to represent the first team and individual NAIA national championships in school history. Most recently, David Rubio clinched the first individual national title in Corban men's wrestling program history at the 157lb level in March of 2025.
The 2022-23 school year featured a pair of NAIA National Tournament Runner-Up team titles for the women's volleyball and beach volleyball programs, where the NAIA National Attacker of the Year (Rylee Troutman) and NAIA Most Valuable Player (Avari Ridgway) paved the way for the two powerhouse rosters. Track & Field women's high jumper Kayla Morgan set the CCC Championship meet record with a 1.71m leap en route to a conference crown in the spring of 2024 and has since defended her conference crown in 2025. In addition, the Warrior beach volleyball program won the inaugural CCC Regular Season Championship with an 11-1 conference record, the inaugural NAIA West Tournament Championship, and eventually finished as a national semifinalist at the NAIA National Invitational in 2024. They repeated once again in the spring of 2025 with their second national runner-up finish. Every year since the NAIA has recognized beach volleyball as a collegiate sport, Corban has advanced to each of the national championship tournaments and finished no lower than the semifinalist stage.
