KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced their National Awards Day honorees earlier today, which included the NAIA Scholar Teams from the 2025-26 academic year. A total of 16 Corban University Athletics programs earned NAIA Scholar Team distinction, recognizing programs that maintained a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher throughout the academic year.

"We're incredibly grateful for the way our student-athletes pursue excellence in every aspect of their Corban experience," shared Warriors' director of athletics Bill Pilgeram. "Honors such as these reflect countless hours of work in the classroom and showcase the Christ-centered culture our coaches have built within their programs."
The Warrior athletic department once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence, with programs from across the Warrior programs who achieved the prestigious national recognition. The NAIA Scholar Team designation honors the hard work and dedication of student-athletes, coaches, and support staff who prioritize success both in competition and in the classroom.
Corban was among the many institutions across the nation represented on this year's Scholar Team list, continuing a tradition of academic achievement that has become a hallmark of Warrior Athletics. The recognition reflects the university's mission of developing student-athletes who pursue excellence in every area of their collegiate experience.
The complete list of Corban teams earning 2025-26 NAIA Scholar Team honors includes women's volleyball, women's beach volleyball, women's basketball, women's soccer, women's cross country, women's indoor/outdoor track & field, softball, men's basketball, men's soccer, men's cross country, men's indoor/outdoor track & field, baseball, men's wrestling, and men's golf. The Warrior women's cross country program led all sports with a 3.78 cumulative team GPA in 2025-26, followed by women's volleyball (3.74), women's indoor/outdoor track & field (3.67), women's beach volleyball (3.60), and women's soccer (3.59) to round out the top five Corban team GPAs.
