HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated with honors from Canby High School in 2013 … Played golf all four years … Led team to the state tournament as a senior helping guide the Cougars to a tie for fifth place overall with Glencoe High School … Carded his lowest round in three appearances at the season-ending state championships thanks to a 2-over 74 in the second and final round en route to finishing in a two-way tie for 31st individually … Qualified for the 6A state tournament as an individual as a junior finishing in a two-way tie for 59th overall … Helped lead Canby to the OSAA 6A state tournament as a freshman where the Cougars finished tied for ninth overall and he finished in an eight-way tie for 57th individually … Averaged 76.65 strokes per round during his high school career that included a career-low scoring average of 75.1 as a junior.
