2021-22: Third year member of the 2021-22 Warrior men’s wrestling squad… Participated in 13 matches this season in the 174 and 184 weight class… Nelson went 6-7 (W-L) on the season.

2020: Member of the squad that lost the majority of their season to the COVID-19 pandemic...

2019: Was a member of the inaugural Warrior men’s wrestling squad that sent two wrestlers to the NAIA National Championships and earned one individual CCC title… Participated in 25 matches for the Navy and Gold… Competed in five dual matches at 174 pounds… Combined to go 11-14 (W-L) on the year with six victories by pin…

Personal: Nelson comes to Corban from Dallas High School. He started wrestling in his seventh-grade year, quickly becoming a standout in the sport. In 2018, he took third as an individual at the State Tournament and was a member of the State Championship team.

Nelson is currently planning on double majoring in history and education.
