2023: A distance runner for the Warriors, competing in the Women’s 800 and 1500 meter races… Morud’s season best 800 time was marked 2:36.7 at the Linfield Open… Fastest 1500 time was marked 5:30.00 at the Larry Byerly L&C Invite… CCC Academic All-Conference Honoree and Daktronics Scholar-Athlete… Member of the 2023 Corban Women’s Track & Field team that placed 6th overall at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships. The program saw 15 new Top 10 marks for the Warriors’ all-time record books, one All-Conference student-athlete, five CSC Academic All-District award winners, 12 NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and 14 CCC Academic All-Conference student-athletes.
Personal: A native of Warren, Ore., Morud was educated through homeschooling while competing in three sports (cross country, track & field, and soccer) for Scappoose HS. She earned numerous accolades during that time, including being named the Most Outstanding Newcomer for her cross-country performance in 2018, and the Most Improved Female Athlete for her exceptional efforts on the track in 2019.
Morud is studying intercultural studies during her time at Corban.
