2025: Appeared in 30 games for the navy and gold and started in 21 of them…With 34 at bats, Scovil posted a .265 batting average collecting 9 hits, including 2 doubles…She scored 1 run, drove in 11 RBIs, and accumulated 11 total bases, resulting in a .324 slugging percentage…The 5’8 freshman drew 4 walks, successfully stole 2 bases in 2 attempts, and finished with an on-base percentage of .342…Scovil also pitched 87.0 innings with 74 strikeouts…She posted a 6.36 ERA, 1.99 WHIP, secured 1 win for the navy and gold, and complete 5 games on the mound…Member of the 2025 Corban Softball squad that finished 4-41 overall and 2-25 in CCC contests for a tenth-place finish in the conference standings. The program had 12 student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference honors, along with six NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the 2025 season…
Personal: Scovil connects with the Corban roster with an impressive high school resume. In her high school career, she secured a .512 batting average, a .592 on base percentage, and 256 strikeouts (100 strikeouts just in the 2024 season). Scovil received First Team All-League and Third Team All-State honors as a pitcher her sophomore year, and was awarded two more Second Team All-League titles the subsequent years. During her four years of softball, Scovil was a member of the Santiam Christian volleyball team for three seasons and the wrestling team for one.
With plans to become a math teacher, Scovil will fulfill the requirements for an education degree while playing softball.
