Corban Athletics

2024: Fastest personal 8k time for the season was marked 28:36:8 at the 49th Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational…Member of the 2024 Corban Men’s Cross Country team that landed fourth overall at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships where they had two individual top ten finishes crowned as All-Conference runners and sent them to the NAIA National Championships in Columbia, Missouri. The team was also awarded CCC Team of the Week honors.

Personal: The second Ziesemer to attend Corban University in the past decade and the first to do so aboard the Warrior long distance program, Josiah looks to create his own legacy after his cousin Daniel did so for the men’s soccer team and his uncle Marty who was the head coach of the women’s soccer program for 20 years, most recently serving as the director of athletics from 2022-23. Ziesemer was up and down the cross country/track & field academic and athletic performance pages for McNary High School, earning Honorable Mention All-Conference honors his senior season for cross country and Academic All-Conference awards the past two years.

Ziesemer will be pursuing a degree in biblical/theological studies during his time at Corban.
