Corban Athletics

Personal: Entering as a true freshman but with junior academic status after participating in the Running Start program at Whatcom Community College, Detta will boost the deepest Corban men’s cross country roster to date in 2025 with personal best times of 17:03 in the 5k, 4:32 in the 1,600m, and 2:00.38 in the 800m races. He served as team captain for the 2024 fall season at Mount Baker Senior High School and helped lead the Mountaineers to multiple state championship and national qualifiers.

With intentions of one day becoming a physical therapist or athletic trainer, Detta will attempt to earn a degree in kinesiology at Corban.
