2017: Standout rookie runner for the Warriors that garnered All-CCC honors as a top-12 finishes at the 2017 CCC Championships… Placed ninth overall individually at the CCC Championships, clocking a time of 25:54.4… Placed 111th overall at the NAIA National Championships, finishing in the top-third of runners despite breaking his toe and losing his shoe in the first 800 Meters… Uncorked a season-best mark of 25:17.2 at the Willamette Invite… Part of the squad that garnered NAIA Scholar-Team status…
Personal: A familiar face to Warrior Nation, Swoboda returns to the roster for his final season of eligibility following a year away from higher education. He will bring back his multiple national championship qualifying records with him to the program in what will be his last full academic year in the Navy and Gold. In the spring of 2022, Swoboda became the first individual male national champion in school history when he finished first in the men’s 10,000m race at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
Swoboda will be entering the Masters of Christian Leadership program at Corban during his final year of college athletics.
