Personal: Alvarez brings a decorated résumé to the Navy and Gold squad, coming to Corban from The Dalles, Ore. While running for both the cross country and track & field teams for The Dalles High School, he was a three-time District Champion, a six-time First-Team All-League honoree, and a two-time All-State award-winner. In addition, Alvarez is currently the Riverhawks’ record-holder in the 3K steeplechase.

During his time at Corban, he intends to study business.
