2025-26: Averaged 84.87 per round in four tournaments across eight rounds in his true freshman season as a Warrior… Member of the 2025-26 Corban Men’s Golf team that finished the spring season as the sixth-place team at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships, marking three-consecutive seasons having finished within the top six of the conference. The program saw three team members named to Academic All-Conference accolades and was honored with the 2026 CCC Team Sportsmanship Award…

Personal: First Team All-Conference accolades his senior season had Purnell ready to make the jump to the collegiate level competitively, having earned Honorable Mention honors the year prior as well. Purnell most recently completed his first year of collegiate studies at Chemeketa Community College and made the decision to transfer to Corban in order to complete his degree while competing at the NAIA level for men’s golf.

Either a career path as a CPA or sports analyst has Purnell motivated in earning a degree in accounting during his time at Corban.
