2024: Starting in 15 games out of the 17 appearances, Lopez collected a total of 1,222 minutes… With 1 goal and 2 assists the 5’6 midfielder tallied 4 points and a shot on goal percentage of .345… Lopez received Academic All-Conference and Academic All-District honors during the 2024 fall season… Following these awards Lopez was named a 2024 NAIA Scholar-Athlete… Member of the 2024 Corban Men’s Soccer team that finished 5-10-3 overall and 4-6-3 in conference play to finish 10th overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season standings. The program was led by newly appointed head coach Josh Rios Noonkester in his first year with the Warriors.
2023: Starting in 12 of the 16 games appeared, Nicolas played a total of 934 minutes for the navy and gold…The 5’6 midfielder scored 3 goals, had 2 assists and tallied a total of 8 points…With a shot on goal percentage of .632 the redshirt sophomore scored 1 game winning goal…Nicolas received the title of Academic All-Conference during the 2023 fall season…Number 31 for the navy and gold received the title of Academic All-District…Nicolas was one of the 11 athletes that was placed on the 2023 Daktronics Scholar Athlete honoree list…Member of the 2023 Corban Men’s Soccer team that finished 4-7-7 overall and 4-4-5 in conference play to finish 8th overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season standings. The program extended their postseason appearance streak to eleven-straight seasons in the first year under newly appointed head coach Corbin Bowers.
2022: Appeared in 8 contests… totaled 96 minutes played… scored 1 goal... Daktronics Scholar-Athlete Award Winner...
2021: Member of the Warrior squad that finished fourth in the CCC.
Personal: Making the short trek across town, Nicolas joins the Navy and Gold after competing at crosstown rival Willamette University. He was a standout on and off the pitch there, earning Spring Semester College Honors for having a 3.75 GPA or higher. Prior to his time with the Bearcats, Nicolas was a two-time All-Conference honoree at McKay High School, as well as a State Champion at the club level with CFC.
Nicolas plans to major in business during his time at Corban.
