Corban Athletics

2023: Starting in 17 games for the navy and gold Ficek played a total of 1,455 minutes in the 2023 season…The 6’1 junior had 1 assist and 1 point with a shot on goal percentage of .250…Member of the 2023 Corban Men’s Soccer team that finished 4-7-7 overall and 4-4-5 in conference play to finish 8th overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season standings. The program extended their postseason appearance streak to eleven-straight seasons in the first year under newly appointed head coach Corbin Bowers.

Personal: Ficek lands at Corban after competing at Western Oregon, Lane, and Humboldt State. The defender was named First Team All-League, Midwestern Player of the League, and 5A All-State Team during high school play. Ficek also earned a NWAC All-Star Selection while achieving Honor Roll status at both Lane and Western Oregon. Cade accompanies his father and brother as collegiate athletes to come from the family.

Ficek plans to study interdisciplinary studies with goal of becoming an occupational therapist.
