2018: Table-setting midfielder for the Warrior squad that made its sixth-straight appearance in the NAIA National Tournament, finishing in the NAIA Final 16…  Scored three goals and hashed out five assists in his strong junior campaign… Played in all 20 games for the Navy and Gold in 2018…

Hailing from Cape Coral, Fla., Avendano hopes to make an immediate impact in the Warrior midfield after competing for two years at Herkimer County CC in New York. After an exceptional high school career, during which he racked up three straight All-Area Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Year nominations, Avendano notched All-Conference honors, a pair of conference championships, and a pair of trips to the national semifinals at the junior college level.

Avendano is set to major in Sports and Recreation Management at Corban and hopes to work as a sports agent/coach in the future.
