2013: Key forward for the CCC regular season and postseason championship winning team… Part of the squad that qualified for the NAIA Championships … Made 17 starts in 19 games played… Scored two goals and added two assists… Racked up 38 shots and 21 on goal…
2012: Appeared in 18 games as a sophomore … Started 17 … Handed out four assists and recorded four points … Registered 35 shots, including six on goal … Handed out season and career-high tying one assist four times (last versus The College of Idaho (9/29).
2011: Appeared in and started all 20 games as a freshman… Scored four goals and handed out four assists… Recorded 12 points… Registered 36 shots, including 18 on goal… Scored season and career-high one goal four times (last versus Oregon Tech, 9/28)… Handed out season and career-high one assist four times (last versus Northwest Christian, 10/22).
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Capital High School in 2011… Played four years of soccer … Was named co-captain, MVP and all-state as a senior… Played club soccer with Helena Arsenal and competed in the USYSA Far West Regional Tournament.
PERSONAL: Born in Durango, Colo. to Terry and Katrina Chaney… Is 1 of 2 children… Has 1 brother (Devin)… Father, Terry, ran cross country at Oklahoma Christian University … Brother, Devin, graduated from Corban and played three seasons for the Warriors’ men’s soccer team… Enjoys playing with his kendama, snowboarding, playing guitar, fly fishing, trampoline jumping, and reading… Major: Psychology… Would like to win the Amazing Race with his friend, Kaden, after graduation.
Why I chose Corban: “I wanted to be nearer to my brother and my best buddy from high school, as well as play soccer in a good conference.”
