2024: Starting in 1 of 7 games appeared, Nunez played a total of 161 minutes for the navy and gold… Member of the 2024 Corban Men’s Soccer team that finished 5-10-3 overall and 4-6-3 in conference play to finish 10th overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season standings. The program was led by newly appointed head coach Josh Rios Noonkester in his first year with the Warriors.
2023 Personal: Back with the Warrior men’s soccer program after spending his sophomore year at Chemeketa Community College and earning Honor Roll recognition, Nunez returns to the Navy and Gold looking to improve their play in the middle of the field. Originally, he was a 2021 recruit for Corban after playing four seasons of both boys’ soccer and track & field for Corvallis High School. In 2018, Nunez and his teammates played until the final day of the fall season and came away Oregon State Champions.
Nunez will be studying kinesiology entering his second stint with the Warriors.
2022: Was a member of the 2022 Corban squad that finished 16-3-2 overall (10-2-1 CCC). The Warriors found themselves in one of their best defensive seasons to date, tallying 14 shutouts (ties single-season program record), allowing only nine goals (program single-season record), and dropping a new program low 0.42 goals against average…
