Corban Athletics

2024: Member of the 2024 Corban Men’s Soccer team that finished 5-10-3 overall and 4-6-3 in conference play to finish 10th overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season standings. The program was led by newly appointed head coach Josh Rios Noonkester in his first year with the Warriors.

Personal: Another CCC opponent turned Warrior, Castillo joins Corban after using his redshirt season at Eastern Oregon University followed by two successful years at Blue Mountain Community College where he started in 30 of 37 games played as the program’s center back. Despite playing back on the defensive line, Castillo scored a goal and assisted on six more while leading the Timberwolves to ten separate shutouts and back-to-back NWAC playoff appearances over the 2022 and 2023 seasons. As a junior at McLoughlin High School, he was named a Second Team All-League selection before kicking off his collegiate soccer career.

With dreams of one day becoming a physical therapist, Castillo will be joining the Warriors’ kinesiology program to secure a bachelor’s degree.
