Corban Athletics

2023: Starting in 17 games for the navy and gold Montes tallied a checked in a total of 1,428 minutes…The 5’10 midfielder collected a total of 3 goals, 1 assist, and 7 points…With a shot on goal percentage of .500 the freshman had 1 game winning goal…Member of the 2023 Corban Men’s Soccer team that finished 4-7-7 overall and 4-4-5 in conference play to finish 8th overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season standings. The program extended their postseason appearance streak to eleven-straight seasons in the first year under newly appointed head coach Corbin Bowers.

Personal: The second international addition to the roster, Montes comes to Corban from the country of Columbia in South America. Samuel attended school at Santa Isabel de Hungria while also competing his way to IV Division Tournament Championship in the Vallecaucana Soccer League.

Montes intends to study finance during his time at Corban.
