Following an accomplished playing career in both high school and college, Hailey Decker joined the Corban Softball coaching staff in August of 2016.

Prior to Corban, Decker finished out her collegiate career at the University of Oregon, serving as one of the most feared hitters in the Pac-12 Conference. During her time at the U of O, she was an All-Conference performer and First Team All-Pacific Region honoree. During her senior year, she led the Ducks to a 48-10 overall record, while during her junior year, she hit .432 with 48 runs scored, 10 doubles, 11 home runs, and 42 RBI, slugging .625 along the way. 

Before the Ducks, Decker played Nebraska for two years, garnering First Team All-Midwest Region and First Team All-Big Ten honors. She led the team there with a .369 batting average to go with 51 runs scored, 80 hits, 21 doubles, 14 home runs, and 53 RBI.

In high school, Decker was a standout at McNary High School in Keizer, Ore. While at McNary, she was a four-time All-State honoree and a two-time Oregon State Offensive Player of the Year. She his .599 with a .709 on-base percentage during her four-year career. During her junior and senior years, she was named the Oregon 6A Player of the Year.
