Personal: Wood brings another veteran arm to the bolstered Warrior rotation. While attending Yakima Valley College, Wood earned 2022 First-Team East Region Conference recognition as a pitcher. Wood also set the school record for strikeouts while attending Yakima Valley College, amassing 168 punchouts in her single season as a Yak. Wood excelled in the classroom as well, earning Dean's List four times during her time at Yakima Valley.
Wood is studying Elementary Education at Corban with the intention of becoming a teacher.
