2026: Appeared in 28 games and started in 25 of them…With 54 at bats, Burgess had a .130 batting average collecting 7 hits…She scored 7 runs and ended with a slugging percentage of .148 and an on base percentage of .203 to finish her 2026 season…Member of the 2026 Corban Softball squad that finished 6-32 overall and 5-19 in CCC contests for an eighth-place finish in the conference standings. The program had 12 student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference honors for the 2026 season.

Personal: An extremely decorated alumni for Elmira High School, Burgess touts four-straight All-League honors (1x Honorable Mention, 3x First Team), two All-State selections (Honorable Mention & Second Team), and a Defensive Player of the Year accolade as both a shortstop and catcher for the Falcons. Her senior season, Burgess smashed a .511 batting average with 27 RBI and a .960 fielding percentage at shortstop.

Split between careers as a crime scene investigator or working in children’s advocacy, Burgess will be pursuing a degree in forensic psychology during her time at Corban.
