Corban Athletics

2024: A senior pitcher for the navy and gold, Russell appeared in 16 games and started in 3…Russell secured 8 strikeouts during the season and fielding percentage of 1.000… Member of the 2024 Corban Softball squad that finished 4-42 overall and 2-25 in CCC contests for a tenth-place finish in the conference standings. The program had 14 student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference honors, along with nine NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the 2024 season.

2023: Pitched 16 innings for the Warriors… tossed 4 strikeouts and recorded a 9.63 ERA… Member of the 2023 Corban Softball team that finished with an overall record of 10-34 and 8-22 in conference play, good enough for an 8th place finish in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. The program saw one All-CCC student-athlete representing the Warriors at the end of the season, 12 Academic All-Conference team members, five NAIA Scholar-Athletes, four CSC Academic All-District award winners, and three new entries into the all-time record books at the single season and career levels…

Personal: Russell brings a winning pedigree to the Corban program in her first season at the NAIA level. While attending Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Russell was part of the NJCAA Division II All-Region Team, was a two-time Pitcher of the Week, and was part of a program that finished second in the Region I NJCAA Division. Russell also excelled in the classroom at CGCC, earning both Dean's List and Honor Roll honors.

Russell is studying Biology at Corban with a desire to work in the field of forensic science.
