2024: Competed in the Men’s shotput and discus for the Warriors in 2024 with personal best marks of 13.87m (2024 Rich Allen Classic) and 38.70m (John Knight Twilight), respectively…was named a CCC Academic All-Conference Member, NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete, and CSC Academic All-District award winner…Cordero’s personal best in shot put and discus place him at fourth best for both events in program history…
2023: A thrower for the Warriors, competing in the Men’s discus, shot put, and hammer throw… Cordero’s ranks seventh in program history for his 35.71 meter hammer throw and his 12.83 meter shot put at the Raider Invitational… Threw the discus a season best 36.89 meters at the Raider Invitational… CCC Academic All-Conference Honoree, Daktronics Scholar-Athlete, and CSC Academic All-District Selection…

Personal: Cordero, a local product, brings his speed to the Corban sprint squad. The freshman boasted an exceptional four-year track & field career in the Capital City, while also competing on the gridiron for three years. He clocked his career-best 100-meter mark at 11.8 seconds, while sporting a 23.52-second time in the 200-meters. Excellent in the classroom, as well, he was a three-time Academic All-Conference honoree in his time at South Salem High School.
Cordero will major in accounting at Corban.
