2026: Competed in 35 matches this season and won 21 of them…Engels ended her season with an overall winning percentage of .600…Ranked eighth in the Corban record books for the most career wins (44) and ranked seventh for the most career matches played (63)…Tied for eighth for the most single-season pair wins (21) with partner Allyson Reid, tied for ninth for the most career pair wins (21), and placed at third for the most career pair matches played (34)… CSC Academic All-District… NAIA Scholar-Athlete… Earned Academic All-Conference honors…Member of the 2026 Corban Beach Volleyball team that finished with an overall record of 28-8 and was 13-2 in conference play with the No. 3-overall NAIA ranking by season’s end. The Warriors set single season records for most wins (28) and finished as a National Semifinalist, marking the fifth-consecutive season where the Warriors have ended their year by making at least the semifinal knockout stage. The program had fifteen student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference honors, two first team All-American accolades, CCC Pair of the Year, CCC Attacker of the Year, CCC Co-Defender of the Year, CCC Co-Freshman of the Year, and six All-Conference team members during the 2026 season.
2025: Competed in 28 matches this season and won 23 of them…Engels ended her first season with the Warriors with a win percentage of .821…Tied at fifth for the most wins in a single season of 23…Tied at seventh for the highest win percentage in a single season at .821…Ranked third for the most pair wins in a single season with partner Alexis Adebodun and fourth for the highest pair winning percentage in a single season…CCC Freshman of the Year…First Team Pair All-CCC…All-Tournament Team…Member of the 2025 Corban Beach Volleyball team that finished with an overall record of 26-2 and was 15-0 in conference play with the No. 2-overall NAIA ranking by season’s end. The Warriors were named both the inaugural CCC Regular Season and CCC Tournament Champions in a record setting year for the program where they set single season records for most wins (26), fewest losses (2), highest winning percentage (.929), and most consecutive matches won (25). The team finished as a National Semifinalist in 2025, marking the fourth-consecutive season where the Warriors have finished their year by making at least the semifinal knockout stage…
Personal: Engels unites with the Warrior roster as a proven competitor with the potential to make a significant impact this upcoming season. Although carrying four years of beach volleyball eligibility, Engels spent two seasons indoors playing NCAA DII volleyball where she earned Second Team All-Conference honors in the American Southwest Conference. She was a two-time Academic All-ASC student-athlete and named on the dean’s list in 2023. In high school, Engels received Honorable Mention and Second-Team All-District awards during her three years of varsity volleyball.
Engels is pursuing a degree in biology with plans of becoming a physician’s assistant
