2025: Competed in 10 matches for the navy and gold, with a record of 8 wins and 2 losses…Ontai ended the season with a winning percentage of .800 and a third set win percentage of .750… NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete…Academic All-Conference…Member of the 2025 Corban Beach Volleyball team that finished with an overall record of 26-2 and was 15-0 in conference play with the No. 2-overall NAIA ranking by season’s end. The Warriors were named both the inaugural CCC Regular Season and CCC Tournament Champions in a record setting year for the program where they set single season records for most wins (26), fewest losses (2), highest winning percentage (.929), and most consecutive matches won (25). The team finished as a National Semifinalist in 2025, marking the fourth-consecutive season where the Warriors have finished their year by making at least the semifinal knockout stage…

2024: Redshirted… Member of the 2024 Corban Beach Volleyball team that finished with an overall record of 23-5 and was 11-1 in conference play with the No. 1-overall NAIA ranking by season’s end. The Warriors were named both the inaugural CCC Regular Season and NAIA West Beach Volleyball Champions in a record setting year for the program where the set single season records for most wins (23), fewest losses (5), and highest winning percentage (.821). The team finished as a National Semifinalist in 2024, marking the third-consecutive season where the Warriors have finished their season by making at least the semifinal knockout stage.

Personal: A familiar name to Warriors fans, Kaile’a is following the footsteps of her sister, Kealani, as a defensive specialist that found her way to the Corban indoor volleyball and beach volleyball teams from Pearl City, Hawaii. Thriving in high school, Ontai was named a 2021 State Champion, a 2020 ILH Champion, and a 2019 Runner-Up. Ontai also competed for the Spike and Serve Volleyball Clubs where she was a 2022 Transpacific Champion, a Holiday Classic Runner-Up, and a Red Rock Rave fifth place finisher.

Ontai has intentions of joining the Kinesiology program during her time at Corban.
