Biography
2025: Competed in 5 meets this season for the Warriors…McDowell recorded a personal best 6k time of 23:17.2 at the Linfield George Oja Invitational…Fastest 5k time was 19:25.9 at the 50th Charles Bowles Willamette XC Invitational…Placed 34th at the CCC Cross Country Championships…Ranked 24th in the Corban Women’s Cross Country Record Book for the fastest 5k…Ranked 15th for the fastest 6k…Member of the 2025 Corban Women’s Cross Country team that finished sixth overall at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships, highlighted by one individual who earned a top six finish, All-Conference honors, and qualification for the NAIA National Championships in Tallahassee, Florida. The team also maintained their high academic standard, earning nine NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete awards.
Personal: A four-year varsity girls’ cross country runner at Tahoma High School, McDowell will join the robust Warrior long-distance crews with personal best marks of 11:44.28 in the 3,200m and 5:31.12 in the 1,600m races. She was presented with the Aspiring Bear award during her time at Tahoma, which is a coach’s award presented to an underclassman exceeding expectations.
McDowell is expected to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in ministry with an emphasis on Christian ministry.
