Biography
2025: Competed in 5 meets this season for the Warriors…Babcock recorded a personal best 6k time of 22:37.4 at the Linfield George Oja Invitational…Fastest 5k time was 18:35.3 at the 50th Charles Bowles Willamette XC Invitational…Placed 27th at the CCC Cross Country Championships…Ranked 9th in the Corban Women’s Cross Country Record Book for the fastest 5k…Ranked 6th best for the fastest 6k…Received CCC Academic All-Conference Honors…Member of the 2025 Corban Women’s Cross Country team that finished sixth overall at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships, highlighted by one individual who earned a top six finish, All-Conference honors, and qualification for the NAIA National Championships in Tallahassee, Florida. The team also maintained their high academic standard, earning nine NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete awards.
2024: Fastest personal 6k time for the season was marked 23:30:7 at the George Oja Linfield Invitational…The freshman holds the 14th best 6k time as well as 9th best 4k time in school history…Member of the 2024 Corban Women’s Cross Country team that finished seventh overall at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships. The program continued their high academic standard for their team and posted six NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athletes.
Personal: Having both academic and athletic success during her time at Springfield High School, Babcock arrives on campus with three years of varsity girls’ cross country experience and a handful of accomplishments. In the classroom, she was a four-year scholar-athlete for cross country and three-time scholar-athlete for the Millers’ track & field program, all while setting the school record in the girls’ 5k and earning three trips to the OSAA State Championship meet, twice with her team and once on an individual basis.
Babcock will be joining the Warriors’ education program and plans to focus on elementary grades.
