HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from nearby Salem Academy High School in 2013 with honors … Competed in cross country and track & field for four years, as well as basketball and swimming for three years … Helped lead Crusaders’ basketball team to runner-up finish in state as a senior … Earned second team all-conference in cross country as a senior … Placed eighth at state in the 800 meter run in track & field.

PERSONAL: Born in Olympia, Wash. to Steve and Teri Wright … Is 2 of 7 children … Has 3 brothers (Joshua, Jonathon, & Joseph) and 3 sisters (Sarah, Anna, & Elisabeth) … Enjoys wakeboarding, backpacking, sports, games, and spending time with family and friends … Major: Elementary Education … Would like to become an elementary teacher after graduation.
