Biography

A sprinter in her prep days, Michels was homeschooled and competed unattached to any institution in high school. She specialized in both the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes, highlighted by a personal record in the 200-meters of 33.89 seconds. She also sports a career-best mark of 1:20.99 in the 400-meters.

Elementary education is Michels’ major of choice, as she aspires to be a teacher.
