2025: Competed in two events at six meets for the Warriors… Personal best of 35.44m in the javelin at the CCC Championships… CCC Academic All-Conference… Member of the 2025 Warrior Women’s Track & Field outdoor team that placed seventh overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships and saw both one conference champion crowned and one All-Conference selection. In the record books, fourteen of the top ten all-time marks were achieved across various events, along with sixteen Academic All-Conference student-athletes, twelve NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and three CSC Academic All-District award winners.

2024: Competed in the Women’s Javelin for the Warriors in 2024 with a personal best mark of 34.33m at the 2024 Raider Invitational…was named a CCC Academic All-Conference Honoree…

2023: A jumper and sprinter for the Warriors, competing in the Women’s High Jump, Long Jump, and 200 meter race… Peter’s season best high jump was marked 1.40 meters at the Raider Invitational … Farthest long jump was marked 4.46 meters at the Lane CC Meet… Fastest 200 time was marked 30.27 seconds at the Willamette Dual…

Personal: Straus comes to Corban with a high-quality career as a track and field athlete, as well as volleyball player, while at Dallas High School. Straus was an All-League Honorable Mention honoree in volleyball in both the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Straus' accolades continued into the spring of 2021, where she was First Team All-League after placing 2nd in javelin while at the state tournament.

She will major in Forensic Psychology while attending Corban with the intention of becoming a forensic pathologist.
