Biography

Indoor:

2024: Dara competed in two indoor track meets for the navy and gold…She achieved her best time for the mile at the 3rd Whitworth Indoor Invitation with a time of 5:21.52 that put her in 15th place…

 

Outdoor

2024: Competed in the 1,500m race, 3,000m steeplechase, and 4x400 relay race for the Warriors in 2024…Dara had personal best marks of 4:50.84 (2024 Raider Invitational), 11:22.66 (NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships), and 4:11.30 (Cascade Collegiate Conference Outdoor T&F Championships) alongside her teammates, respectively…was named a CCC Academic All-Conference Honoree, an NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete, and a CSC Academic All-District award winner…Dara’s personal best in 3,000m steeplechase placed her at fifth in Corban history, made her an All-Conference top 3 finisher, and allowed her to qualify for nationals where she placed 14th overall…

2023: A distance runner for the Warriors, competing in the Women’s 1500, 5000, and 3000 Steeplechase races… Dara’s season best 1500 time was marked 4:50.20 at the Raider Invitational… Fastest 5000 time was marked 19:00.22 at the Pacific Open… Recorded a time of 50.27 seconds alongside her teammates in the 4x100 relay at the CCC Championships… CCC Academic All-Conference Honoree, Daktronics Scholar-Athlete, and CSC Academic All-District Selection…

2022: Competed in the 1500m and the 5000m races for Corban throughout the spring…Dara recorded her season-best 18:18:26 time in the 5000m at the OSU High Performance meet in April…

2021: Sophomore member of the 2021 women’s cross-country team that placed 9th in the CCC Championships… was an Academic All-Conference honoree

2020: Freshman member of the 2020 squad that placed 6th at the 2020 CCC Championships...

Personal: A gifted athlete and natural leader, Dara provides an immediate boost to Corban’s roster. The Grants Pass, Ore. native spent four years on the cross country and track & field teams at Grants Pass HS, while also swimming and wrestling for the school. She qualified for the State Championships as a member of the cross-country team, while also placing in the Oregon State Wrestling Tournament on three separate occasions. For her outstanding efforts, she was named the school’s Senior Female Athlete of the Year.

While at Corban, Dara will spend her time in Corban’s business degree program.
