Corban Athletics

2024: Starting in 17 games of the 2024 season, Thurman tallied 1,393 minutes for the Warriors… Scoring 1 goal with a shot on goal percentage of .200… Member of the 2024 Corban Men’s Soccer team that finished 5-10-3 overall and 4-6-3 in conference play to finish 10th overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season standings. The program was led by newly appointed head coach Josh Rios Noonkester in his first year with the Warriors.

Personal: With over 1,600 minutes played at the NCAA DII level for Northwest Nazarene University, Thurman has the viability to fill a number of gaps left by the Warriors’ 2024 graduating class. He played in 35 contests, starting in 24 of them for the Nighthawks, over his three years of action prior to transferring into Corban. At the high school level, Thurman was a three-time First Team All-League selection for South Eugene out of the 6A Southwest Conference.

Expecting to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Thurman hopes to one day become an electrician after completing his collegiate career.
