Personal: The only transfer of the 2023-24 class to have wrestled collegiately thus far is a massive addition to the program for Coach Harris, as Garcia trades in his red and black singlet from Southern Oregon University for a navy and gold clad uniform instead. He will have to sit out a season due to the conference transfer policy, but nonetheless is expected to be an incredible asset for the Warriors, having qualified for the NAIA National Tournament last season and bringing in a handful of All-American honors, state championships, and conference championships while wrestling locally at North Salem High School.
Garcia plans to continue pursuing a degree in biomechanics while at Corban with plans to attend physical therapy school in the near future.
