Corban Athletics

2024-2025: A freshman member of the Corban men’s wrestling program…Nicacio competed in 13 matches this season at 184 pounds with an overall record of 8 wins and 5 losses…Member of the 2024-25 Corban Men’s Wrestling program that finished third at the CCC Championships, with two CCC Weight Class Champions. The team qualified nine student-athletes for the 2025 NAIA National Championships, with 3 NAIA All-American titles, with one of them being Corban’s first individual national champion in the 157- weight class. The program set new all-time records for most dual wins (10), highest winning percentage for a single season (.714), most team points in a single tournament (153.0) and holds the best all-time coaching record (16-7). In addition, the team had their highest finish in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll (13th) and finished in eighth place at the NAIA National Championships for their best finish in program history.

Personal: The only Washington native, Nicacio joins the Navy and Gold with an outstanding pedigree from his high school career. The second Nicacio on the Warrior roster, Armando arrives after his Washington State runner-up finish his senior campaign for Regina Caeli Academy at 165 lbs. Nicacio also earned a seventh place national finish his sophomore year and was a two-time district champion his junior and senior seasons.

Nicacio is pursuing a biomedical science degree with hopes of becoming a doctor.
