2025-2026: In his final season of collegiate competition, Kamplain booked his first trip to the NAIA National Championships via a fourth place finish at 197lbs during the CCC Championships…he finishes with the tenth most pins (14) in Warrior career history and is fifth for single season wins (30)…Academic All-Conference…Member of the 2025-26 Corban Men’s Wrestling program that finished fifth at the CCC Championships. The team qualified five student-athletes for the 2026 NAIA National Championships, concluding their season with two NAIA All-American titles. The team had their second highest finish ever at the NAIA Championships via a 17th place finish, while academically securing three CSC Academic All-District, four NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and nine Academic All-Conference selections.
2024-2025: A junior member of the Corban men’s wrestling program…Kamplain competed in 21 matches this season for the Warriors…He had an overall record of 12 wins and 9 losses…Kamplain entered the CCC Championship Tournament as the eighth seed in the 197 pound weight class with a record of 11-6, finishing in 8th place…Member of the 2024-25 Corban Men’s Wrestling program that finished third at the CCC Championships, with two CCC Weight Class Champions. The team qualified nine student-athletes for the 2025 NAIA National Championships, with 3 NAIA All-American titles, with one of them being Corban’s first individual national champion in the 157- weight class. The program set new all-time records for most dual wins (10), highest winning percentage for a single season (.714), most team points in a single tournament (153.0) and holds the best all-time coaching record (16-7). In addition, the team had their highest finish in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll (13th) and finished in eighth place at the NAIA National Championships for their best finish in program history.
Personal: Kamplain hails from New Mexico and began wrestling in the Pacific Northwest for Clackamas Community College prior to joining the Warriors. At Clackamas, Kamplain became a NJCAA All American both on the mat and in the classroom, as well as a coaches’ national dual champion. His success tracks back to high school, as Kamplain was a two-time New Mexico state champion for Moriarty High School. Kamplain also participated in football, track and field, and baseball in high school, earning All State and All Metro First Team honors.
Kamplain is pursuing a kinesiology degree with intentions of being an athletic trainer.
