2022-23: Was a freshman member of the 2022-23 Corban squad that crowned an individual CCC Champion and sent four wrestlers to the NAIA National Tournament. Finished with an overall record of 6-8…

Personal: A three sport high school athlete at La Center High School in his hometown, Mattson found success both on the diamond and on the mats, while also participating in cross country in the fall terms. In baseball, he was selected as a Second Team All-League athlete, while placing All-League for his weight class the last three years running. In his senior season, he was named the Wrestler of the Year for the Trico League to cap his final high school season.

Mattson will be studying Forensic Psychology while a member of the Warriors' squad.
