Dr. Ryan Hadden joined the Corban University wrestling coaching staff as a volunteer in the fall of 2020, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Warrior staff. Dr. Hadden, the son of Navy and Gold assistant coach Kary Hadden, specializes in health and wellness for the student-athletes.

A former athlete himself, Hadden enjoyed a stellar career in collegiate sports at Oregon State University. A decorated wrestler, he was a member of the Oregon National Wrestling Team that represented the state and country in Russia. His passion for wrestling has extended well beyond his own career, as he currently volunteers with USA Wrestling as part of the organization’s medical staff.

In addition to his career on the mat, he also competed as part of the Beaver football team. He graduated from Oregon State with a bachelor's degree in exercise and sport science, before earning a medical degree and graduating with honors from the University of Alabama School of Medicine.

He now enjoys a career in orthopedic surgery, working as a resident surgeon at the Oregon Health and Science University.
