Biography
2024-2025: A sophomore member of the men’s wrestling squad…Menne competed in 26 matches at 165 pounds this season for the Warrior’s…He completed the season with an overall record of 12 wins and 14 losses…Academic All-Conference…Member of the 2024-25 Corban Men’s Wrestling program that finished third at the CCC Championships, with two CCC Weight Class Champions. The team qualified nine student-athletes for the 2025 NAIA National Championships, with 3 NAIA All-American titles, with one of them being Corban’s first individual national champion in the 157- weight class. The program set new all-time records for most dual wins (10), highest winning percentage for a single season (.714), most team points in a single tournament (153.0) and holds the best all-time coaching record (16-7). In addition, the team had their highest finish in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll (13th) and finished in eighth place at the NAIA National Championships for their best finish in program history.
2023-2024: A freshman member of the men’s wrestling squad…Menne competed in 24 matches at 157 pounds…He completed the season with an overall record of 8 wins and 16 losses… Member of the 2023-24 Corban Men’s Wrestling program that completed the most successful season of competition since the inaugural season back in 2019-20. The team qualified six student-athletes for the 2024 NAIA National Championships, with yet another NAIA All-American title being earned via a runner-up finish in the 157-weight class. The program set new all-time records for most dual wins (6), fewest dual losses (3), best winning percentage for a single season (.667), most consecutive dual wins (5), and most team points in a single tournament (91.5). In addition, the team tied their highest finish in the NAIA Top 20 Coaches’ Poll (24th), and finished in the top 20 at the NAIA National Championships for their best finish in program history.
Personal: The only northern Washington recruit of this year's class, Menne brings an outstanding pedigree of wrestling with him to the Navy and Gold following an incredible high school career. Menne is a two-time state placer as a freshman and a senior for Burlington-Edison, a three-time district champion, two-time regional champion, and was selected as the Outstanding Wrestler for his program in three separate seasons. Additionally, he was named the Skagit Valley Herald Wrestler of the Year.
Menne anticipates running his own corporation after he graduates from Corban with a degree in business.
