Personal: DeVries comes to Salem from Anchorage, Alaska. He started wrestling at the age of six, enjoying a standout career at Grace Christian School before attending Corban. He qualified for state two times in high school and was a two-time regional placer.
DeVries intends to pursue a degree in accounting.
