Corban Athletics

2025-2026: Earned an 18-16 overall record in his true freshman campaign with four pins, three technical falls, and two major decisions…Member of the 2025-26 Corban Men’s Wrestling program that finished fifth at the CCC Championships. The team qualified five student-athletes for the 2026 NAIA National Championships, concluding their season with two NAIA All-American titles. The team had their second highest finish ever at the NAIA Championships via a 17th place finish, while academically securing three CSC Academic All-District, four NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and nine Academic All-Conference selections.

Personal: Entering his collegiate career with ten years of wrestling experience, Thynes brings a packed trophy case with him to Corban’s campus that includes an OSAA State Finalist finish, two-time state tournament placements, two 5A Intermountain Conference 138lb titles, and a team state championship for Redmond High School all while maintaining a 4.2 cumulative GPA.

With intentions of one day becoming a physical therapist, Thynes will begin his freshman year of college wrestling by studying kinesiology.
