Biography

2023-2024: A senior member of the men’s wrestling team…Lukner competed in 32 matches at 285 pounds…He completed the season with an overall record of 21 wins and 11 losses…The graduating senior tied for the 7th most wins in a single season with 26 wins…Lukner ended his career being tied for 5th most career wins at Corban University with 50 wins…He tied for 7th highest win percentage in Corban Men’s Wrestling history with .667…Furthermore, he tied for 7th most pins in a career with 12 pins…CCC Academic All-Conference… Member of the 2023-24 Corban Men’s Wrestling program that completed the most successful season of competition since the inaugural season back in 2019-20. The team qualified six student-athletes for the 2024 NAIA National Championships, with yet another NAIA All-American title being earned via a runner-up finish in the 157-weight class. The program set new all-time records for most dual wins (6), fewest dual losses (3), best winning percentage for a single season (.667), most consecutive dual wins (5), and most team points in a single tournament (91.5). In addition, the team tied their highest finish in the NAIA Top 20 Coaches’ Poll (24th), and finished in the top 20 at the NAIA National Championships for their best finish in program history.

2022-23: Was a junior member of the 2022-23 Corban squad that crowned an individual CCC Champion and sent four wrestlers to the NAIA National Tournament. Finished with an overall record of 22-11…

Personal: New to the collegiate wrestling scene but not college athletics, Lukner comes to Corban following two football scholarships at NCAA DII schools University of Minnesota Crookston and Eastern New Mexico University. Lukner competed in wrestling at Sedro-Wooley High School in his hometown of Sedro Wooley, was named the Wrestler of the Year for the district in 2019 and placed at the state tournament on two separate occasions, earning a 3rd place finish in 2018 and 2nd place in 2019.

Lukner is expected to pursue an agriculture science degree in Corban's new ag science program that was added this year.
