Following an accomplished playing career with the Warrior men’s soccer team, Benny Flores returned to Corban as an assistant coach with the women’s soccer program, and was ultimately promoted to become an associate head coach in July of 2011.
Having coached with the Warriors for 11 years, Flores has led the program to numerous winning seasons and has been a part of championship teams with Corban. During his time as a player with the Warriors, Flores racked up 39 goals and 18 assists for 96 career points in just three seasons, seeing him sit fourth on the all-time list for the Warrior men’s soccer program. Thanks to those accomplishments on the field, he was twice named the Warriors’ Most Valuable Player.
Flores graduated from Corban in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Youth Ministry.
During his free time, he enjoys relaxing with family, playing soccer, and watching the Seattle Seahawks. He is also a fan of the Washington Huskies. His wife, Barbara, also attended Corban and played soccer during the first two years that the women’s program was offered in 1993-94.
